Brock Holt suggests the Red Sox should re-sign Craig Kimbrel

Free agency hasn't exactly gone Craig Kimbrel's way this winter. In December, he reportedly wanted a six-year, record-setting contract worth over $100 million

The 30-year-old closer has recorded 333 saves and a World Series championship in his career, but his market has cooled substantially.

Brock Holt posted a photo of him and Kimbrel at Babson College where they seemed to work out together.

The Red Sox haven't expressed much interest in spending big money on their bullpen, especially at Kimbrel's initial asking price.

Matt Barnes has expressed interest in being the Red Sox closer next year, but this offseason has been slow. The possibility of Kimbrel coming back to Boston could increase the longer this drags out, but it only takes one team to give him the contract he wants.
