BOSTON - It was Rusney Castillo's turn on Wednesday night to forget how many outs there were in the inning.
But Castillo took it one step further.
With one on and one out - not two out - in the 7th inning, Indians No. 9 hitter Jose Ramirez hit a fly ball into right-center field that Rusney Castillo easily got under.
He made the catch for the second out - not the third - and proceeded to throw the ball into the stands.

It was a nice toss. Overhand, good loft. Nice guy that Rusney, giving a souvenir to a lucky fan. He probably feels pretty good about himself as he begins to trot back to the dug- waittttt . . . dammit.
One problem, Rus. You've still got an out go. Meanwhile, Indians base-runner Abraham Almonte is granted two bases on the flub.
NESN's Jerry Remy does a good job of summing this one up in the video above: "Makes the catch, turns his back, throws it in the stands, he thinks there's three outs in the inning, and guys are running all over the place. That's embarrassing."
After the game, Torey Lovullo was asked about the play. Even though it didn't lead to any runs, he wasn't happy about it.
"You know, it's not a laughing matter for us," Lovullo said. "We take that stuff seriously. I addressed Rusney and we can't allow that type of stuff to happen."
It probably makes Lovullo's decision on which outfielder to sit for Thursday's game an easier one.
