Farrell: Lucchino had ‘an unprecedented run of success'

Larry Lucchino is stepping down from his role as Red Sox president and CEO. 

But he built something special at Fenway, including three World Series titles and a monumental renovation of the park.

Before Sunday's game, manager John Farrell praised Luchhino for his impact on the Red Sox.

"He's clearly beee a main player in an unprecedented run of success here in Boston," Farrell said. "That will carry on not just in World Series trophies, but tangible things here, additions to Fenway. The thing that will stand out most is the interactions you had with him frequently."
