Klay Thompson reveals why Red Sox were his favorite team as kid

You can include Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson in that mix.

Thompson posted an old photo to his Instagram page Thursday showing him in a Boston Red Sox uniform as a kid. In the caption, he explained why the Red Sox were his favorite team growing up.

Thompson isn't the only Warriors superstar who's shown a love for the Red Sox. Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been a Red Sox fan for a while, and he wasn't shy about expressing it during the team's march toward a World Series title in 2018.

Unfortunately for Red Sox fans, Thursday's home opener against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park was postponed to Friday afternoon due to weather.
