Despite helping the Red Sox take down the Yankees in the ALCS and break the curse in 2004, Johnny Damon will be rooting for the pinstripes vs Boston in the ALDS.
The former center fielder spent four years with the Yankees after leaving Boston following the 2005 season.
"New York's my team," Damon told TMZ Sports. "Just the way the Yankees organization is and how great they take care of their former players and everything... the Yankees, that's who I want to win."
Damon does note that his heart will always be in Boston for what the '04 Sox were able to accomplish.
