The Boston Red Sox held on to beat the New York Yankees 4-3 on Monday night. Here are the Talking Points.
STAR OF THE GAME: Jackie Bradley Jr.
The outfielder continues to do it all. He had three hits, scored two runs and turned in the defensive play of the game - leaping to make a line drive catch, then doubling up a baserunner at the plate.
HONORABLE MENTION: David Ortiz.
Most of the focus has been on his pursuit of 500 career homers. As an added bonus for the Red Sox Monday night, No. 495, hit in the fourth inning, put the Red Sox ahead to stay on the scoreboard.
GOAT OF THE GAME: Jacoby Ellsbury

Ellsbury reached on catcher's interference to start the game and came around to score the first run, but was hitless in his next four at-bats, stranding seven baserunners in the process.
TURNING POINT: With runners at the corners in the top of the eighth and one out, Junichi Tazawa fielded a rocket comebacker by Jacoby Ellsbury, helping to start a 1-6-3 inning-ending double play.
BY THE NUMBERS: The Red Sox have now gone 61 innings without giving up a home run.
