Something has clicked for Red Sox centerfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.
The career .236 hitter has the second-highest OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging percentage) in the American league since May 20. He's currently riding a seven-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in each of the past 12 games.

For the past month, Bradley Jr. has been one of Boston's best hitters. Since May 20, Bradley Jr. has posted a .307/.396/.659/1.055 batting line with 17 RBI, 16 runs scored, and 17 XBH (27-for-88, 10 2B, 7 HR, 9 BB, 4 HBP), per the Red Sox game notes. During the four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles, Bradley Jr. hit two homers and drove in six runs.
On May 31, Bradley Jr. described fixing his swing with hitting coach Andy Barkett. Though the one-time All-Star has experienced hot and cold stretches in his seven-year career, the continued success at the plate into mid-June suggests that his adjustment may be permanent. Even if his improved swing is temporary, Bradley Jr's bat has been key in Boston's five-game winning streak and keeping the Red Sox above .500.
