Celtics' Jayson Tatum reacts to his ‘NBA 2K20' rating

Just like NFL players with Madden, NBA players take their "NBA 2K" ratings very seriously.

Entering his third year in the league, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum still is fairly new to seeing his talent evaluated in video game ratings. He worked his way up to an 82 overall rating in "NBA 2K17" during his rookie season and was rated an 87 for "2K18".

The folks over at 2K Sports decided to break the news of Tatum's "NBA 2K19" rating to his face, and the 21-year-old wasn't exactly thrilled.

Watch Tatum's reaction to his 2K rating below:

An 85 rating still isn't anything to scoff at, but Tatum clearly didn't expect a dropoff from last year.

Even more notable than Tatum's rating were his comments after the big reveal. "I'm gonna average over 20, All-Star, and the Celtics are going to the championship."

Careful, Jayson... you don't want to make the same mistake your teammate Jaylen Brown made before last season. . .
