He may be out for the Boston Celtics' game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to an ankle injury, but Jaylen Brown received some good news on Thursday.
Brown, 25, was re-elected as vice president of the NBPA executive board for another three-year term which begins immediately, the association announced.

Phoenix Suns center Bismack Biyombo and Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon were re-elected along with Brown to the executive board as three of its six vice presidents. Brown's teammate, Grant Williams, along with former Celtics guard Kyrie Irving and New Orleans Pelicans guard Garrett Temple are also vice presidents.
Pelicans guard C.J. McCollum is currently president of the NBPA. Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala is first vice president and Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes is secretary-treasurer.

The second term for Brown comes after he was initially elected VP in 2019 at 22, when he was the youngest player on the nine-member executive board.

Brown, in his sixth NBA season, has said he'd like to be president of the NBPA someday. He's averaging 23.2 points per game over 50 contests for the Celtics this season.
