Jayson Tatum's admiration for Kobe Bryant is well-documented.
In May, Tatum was the subject of Bryant's ESPN+ show "Detail," in which the Lakers legend broke down aspects of Tatum's game and suggested how he could improve. Tatum raved about having his childhood idol critique his play.
"That was really cool for me. Growing up, [Bryant] was my favorite player. That was really a special moment for me." ... "I've probably watched [the video] like 25 times already. It's very helpful information that I can take with me."
Today, Tatum got the chance to get up close and personal with Bryant. The Celtics phenom posted photos on Instagram of him and Kobe getting a workout in, with a motivational caption that reads, "How much does it mean to you - @kobebryant."
The rest of the league should be afraid... very afraid.
