Kyrie Irving (eye) questionable vs Timberwolves

Share

As Kyrie Irving went for a rebound after his own missed three Monday against the Spurs, he ran into Marco Belinelli's hand. Irving hit the floor after his right eye was scratched, and Brad Stevens told reporters following the loss he would receive antibiotics for the injury.

The Celtics announced Tuesday that Irving is questionable for Wednesday's home matchup with the Timberwolves with right eye irritation. Aron Baynes and Robert Williams remain out with respective hand and groin injuries.

Stevens will most likely update us on Irving's status tomorrow, but it's a promising sign the point guard has a chance to play. Eye injuries are tricky and it is hard to tell what the severity is.
