The Detroit Pistons dominated the Boston Celtics 117-97 on Wednesday night, snapping the C's six-game win streak while extending their own to eight games.
Detroit pummeled Boston with 62 points in the paint. Meanwhile, Malik Beasley made his case for NBA Sixth Man of the Year with a team-high 26 points on 6-of-11 shooting from 3-point range.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 27 points. Payton Pritchard and Derrick White both scored 18 points on five 3-pointers.
The C's will look to bounce back Friday when they welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers to TD Garden.
