With the Boston Celtics getting ready to take on LeBron James' reeling Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, it's time to relive one of the best moments from last year's Celtics playoff run: Jayson Tatum's dunk over LeBron in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Celtics had gotten a huge spark from Tatum during the NBA playoffs, and with a trip to The Finals on the line, Tatum made one of the biggest plays of his young career. He went up for a dunk and threw it down despite LeBron coming over and attempting to block it. He received a thunderous ovation from Celtics fans everywhere and endeared himself to the fans by giving LeBron a bump on his way back up the court.
That dunk will go down as a legendary moment in Celtics history and in the career of Tatum.
Tatum didn't mince words when asked about the dunk's importance to him in an interview with NBC Sports Boston's Kyle Draper (video above).
It's my most memorable play ever... It’s the best thing I’ve ever done in basketball.
Tatum has relived the moment quite a bit himself and has learned to appreciate everything about the dunk.
I probably watched in two million times. I look at different things. The crowd’s reaction. Marcus Morris is right under the basket. Paul Pierce was on the baseline. He almost jumped onto the court.

With just one game left against the Lakers and LeBron this year, this seemed like the perfect time to relive this iconic highlight. We'll soon see if Tatum can get another monster jam over LeBron to add to his highlight reel.
