Who is the biggest celebrity Boston Celtics fan?

If you are attending the 2022 NBA Finals, you can bet these celebrity fans will also be watching.

The Boston Celtics are one of the most decorated franchises in NBA history. With 17 championship wins to their name, the Celtics are bound to have a lot of stars in their arena.

Some of the greatest players have played for the legendary Eastern Conference team, and over the years, the Celtics have gained many famous fans, too.

Here are some of the most notable Celtics fans:

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg -- who gained fame as a member of the rap group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch -- is an American actor who was a Calvin Klein model before his successful film career. Wahlberg was born in Boston, and he bleeds Celtic green.

The Oscar-nominated actor is often seen courtside and has been a fan of the team for years. He even was a part of a team motivational Zoom call that took place during the coronavirus pandemic. But he’s not alone: His brother Donnie is also a huge fan of the team, and they often go to the games together. They have been seen interacting with players and have even attempted to recruit a few.

Matt Damon

Matt Damon is a successful actor, film producer and screenwriter, but he is also a huge fan of the Celtics. The "Good Will Hunting" star was born in Boston and has been a longtime fan of the Celtics. And if you're a Celtics fan there's a huge chance that you're not so fond of the L.A Lakers, and Damon has made his alliance clear.

During Game 4 of the 2008 NBA Finals, Damon was seated courtside with Mark Wahlberg at Staples Center, and as the two Celtics celebrity fans cheered on their favorite NBA team, legendary Lakers head coach Phil Jackson gave them a not so "Zen" response.

Damon said the classic moment was “my one factoring into the great Lakers-Celtics rivalry.”

Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku is a Watertown, Mass., native you may recognize as “Faith” from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Dushku is a big fan of Boston sports and is known for her public love and fandom of the Celtics. She previously was in a relationship with former Lakers small forward Rick Fox. The two dated for five years before Dushku decided that she wanted to return to Boston. "Rick's an L.A. guy and I'm a Boston girl," she told The Boston Globe.

Dushku is a Boston girl indeed, continuing to show her love for that Celtic green.

Maria Menounos

Maria Menounos is an American entertainment reporter, television personality, professional wrestler, actress and businesswoman. While she holds many titles, there's one that she takes very seriously: Celtics superfan.

Menounos was born in Medford, Mass., and her affinity for the Celtics has gotten her in a bit of trouble over the years. She's often seen courtside in her greenest jersey heckling opposing players and was once removed from her courtside seats during a Lakers game in the Staples Center by none other than Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson. Menounos took to Conan O'Brien’s late night show to tell us how it all went down.
