The No. 1 overall-seeded Boston Celtics made quick work of the No. 6 Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, sweeping their way to a second NBA Finals appearance in three years.

The Celtics then awaited the winner of the West Finals between the No. 3 Minnesota Timberwolves and No. 5 Dallas Mavericks. Luka Doncic and the Mavs jumped out to a 3-0 series lead, but the Wolves avoided a sweep with a Game 4 victory before being blown out at home in Game 5.
