NBC Sports Boston announces comprehensive Patriots coverage and new analysts for 2022 season

Needham, Mass. – (September 9, 2022) – The New England Patriots kick off the 2022 NFL regular season on Sunday, September 11, and NBC Sports Boston will once again bring Patriots fans in-depth, comprehensive, and multiplatform coverage of the team. Coverage is highlighted by live gameday pregame shows, postgame shows, and a Patriots-themed show every weeknight, along with extensive news, analysis and commentary across multimedia and digital platforms.

NBC Sports Boston’s coverage each week includes live Pregame & Postgame shows surrounding every game, plus dedicated Patriots shows each weeknight at 6:00 p.m. as part of the 6 O’clock Kickoff presented by Shaw’s. Launching Sunday, September 11

Hosts Amina Smith, Tom Curran, Michael Holley, Phil Perry, former Patriots Quarterback Matt Cassel, and MMQB’s Albert Breer preview the upcoming Patriots game in New England’s only dedicated local pregame show. Pregame coverage on NBC Sports Boston will exclusively begin at noon each gameday for 1pm and 4pm games, and 90-minutes leading up to the Primetime games. 

Halftime Live presented by Milton CAT

Halftime Live on NBC Sports Boston will be part of every Patriots gameday for the fifth consecutive season and will once again be the only local live halftime show on television and online. 

Postgame Live Presented by Your New England Ford Dealers

New England’s only unfiltered Patriots postgame show hosted by Amina Smith, with analysis from Tom Curran, Michael Holley, Ted Johnson, Matt Cassel, and Phil Perry, plus reports from the field, locker room, and the press conferences.

Mondays:

“The Breakdown” Presented by John’s Sewer and Drain Cleaning

Launching Monday, Sept 12, 6:00 p.m. 

Hosts Phil Perry and former Patriot Ted Johnson recap and break down the key moments of that week’s Patriots game in their own unique style.   

Tuesdays:

“Quick Slants” Presented by Your Local New England Honda Dealers

Launched Tuesday, Sept 6, 6:00 p.m. 

Tom E. Curran uses his insider credentials to weave through the latest Patriots storylines in his unmistakable style of fun and information. Kay Adams joins Tom on his weekly journey.

Hear from all the key voices in Foxboro as they prepare for their next opponent.  Patriots Hall of Famer, Vince Wilfork, stops by each week for Wilfork Wednesdays.  Tom Giles hosts along with contributions from Tom Curran and Phil Perry at Gillette Stadium. 

Thursdays:

Launched Thursday, Sept. 8, 6:00 p.m. 

Tom Curran goes deeper into the stories of the week for a TV version of his popular podcast.  Tom will be joined by an array of guests to add perspective to what is happening with the Patriots and around the league.

Fridays:

Launching Friday, Sept 9, 6:00 p.m. 

Tom Giles is joined by former oddsmaker and NBC Sports sports betting analyst, Jay Croucher, along with local personality, Joe Murray, to take a closer look at the trends for the upcoming football weekend live from the WynnBet Sports Bar at the Encore Boston Harbor.
