Aaron Rodgers' Week 4 loss to Eagles kept a Tom Brady NFL record intact

Trying to overcome a double-digit lead on the road against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady or Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is among the toughest challenges in the NFL.

These are two of the best quarterbacks in league history, and they have helped make Gillette Stadium in Foxboro and Lambeau Field in Green Bay among the toughest places for opponents to win.

Brady holds the league record (in the Super Bowl era) for the most consecutive wins in home games during which his team took a lead of 10 or more points. The Patriots quarterback's unbeaten streak got to 80 games before the Philadelphia Eagles ended the run in December of 2015.

The Eagles ended Rodgers' streak with an exciting 34-27 victory at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. The loss keeps Brady's record safe for the foreseeable future:

The Patriots have won 18 straight games at home, including the playoffs, dating back to the 2017 season, and they are 2-0 at Gillette Stadium in 2019.

Brady doesn't have to worry about the record noted above being broken for quite a while. He could actually add a few NFL records to his resumé later this season, including the all-time wins (by any player) and regular season passing touchdown records.
