Tom Brady's opponents don't like losing to him -- but they certainly respect him.
That much was evident Sunday at FedExField after the New England Patriots rolled to a 33-7 win over the Washington Redskins.
As the teams shook hands, Washington running back Adrian Peterson sought out Brady to ask him for his game-worn jersey.
"Hey, I need the jersey," Peterson told Brady, who responded that he'd send it over after the game.
But Peterson wasn't the only Washington player in the market for No. 12's threads, offensive lineman Donald Penn approached Brady right after Peterson with the same request.
Brady had to break the bad news that Peterson asked him first, but told Penn he'd send a non-game-worn jersey his way, too.
It's common practice for NFL stars to swap jerseys with players they respect and don't face on a yearly basis. Peterson and Penn both are established veterans who obviously appreciate Brady's sustained success, so it's no surprise they were lining up to greet the GOAT on Sunday.
