Brady takes playful shot at Charles Woodson over ‘Tuck Rule' game

Tom Brady was the butt of a few jokes at Peyton Manning's Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony over the weekend, but the former New England Patriots quarterback was able to get in a few jabs of his own.

Brady posed for a picture with Charles Woodson (among many other NFL notables) in Canton, Ohio, and reopened an old wound for the former Oakland Raiders cornerback on Instagram.

"It wasn't a fumble," Brady wrote in his Instagram story caption of his photo with Woodson.

That's a reference to the infamous "Tuck Rule" incident in the Patriots' 2001 playoff matchup with Raiders. Woodson appeared to force a Brady fumble that would have cost New England the game, but the ruling was overturned to an incomplete pass, paving the way for Adam Vinatieri's heroics in a 16-13 overtime victory.

Woodson has admitted he's still not over that controversial play, so Brady's jab probably hit close to home -- especially coming from a fellow Michigan alum.

But what Brady can't take from Woodson is that he's officially a Hall of Famer, joining a star-studded 2021 class Sunday that included Manning, Calvin Johnson and John Lynch.
