Coyne: Berman ruling will be appealed regardless of who wins

The Deflategate saga started all the way back on January 18, and will carry all the way into September.

Judge Richard Berman says to expect a decision on Tuesday on Wednesday, but Dean at Mass. School of Law, Michael Coyne expects the losing side to appeal, extending the life of the case.

"As long there are lawyers alive the next round will be an appeal on this case," said Coyne. "It can take 12 months. It could take a few months. What we are looking at is - regardless of who wins [Tuesday] or the next day - there will be an appeal to the second circuit court of appeals and that could last us well to another year. We might even see Judge Berman refer it back to the arbitration process. So in essence, we start yet again with day one and this interminable delay goes on forever."
