When asked what it's like to contribute to Brady's status as the best of all time, Edelman joked the B.O.A.T. nickname belonged to Blake Bortles.
"It's really cool to be focused on catching not from the B.O.A.T., the G.O.A.T.," Edelman said. He told reporters it was a running joke.
Bortles was given the B.O.A.T. nickname after telling Barstool Sports he'd probably be working construction if he wasn't playing football.
Edelman's not throwing shade at Bortles, is he?
Considering where the Patriots are right now compared to the Jaguars it's unlikely, but who knows?
