Jason McCourty roasts brother Devin for fueling retirement speculation

Jason McCourty thinks his twin brother is just hogging the spotlight.

New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty surprisingly didn't rule out retirement Monday at Super Bowl LIII Opening Night, admitting it'd be tough to top winning a Super Bowl title alongside his brother.

Jason was asked Tuesday if he felt the same way as Devin and initially pleaded the fifth -- before firing a shot at his twin.

"I'm not talking to y'all about retirement and all that. You guys got to find Dev around the hotel, and ask him to further go on about those comments," Jason said, via the Boston Herald's Kevin Duffy.

When asked if he was surprised by Devin's comments, Jason dropped the zinger:

"Nah, he's a drama guy, so I'm not surprised at all."

As for Jason's future, the 31-year-old simply offered this:

"I'm playing on Sunday."

Devin and Jason are in their ninth and 10th NFL seasons, respectively, so the retirement rumors have merit. Jason apparently is above revealing his plans in public, though.
