The Patriots' stance on Roger Goodell seems simple enough: They don't care for him, but they're not going to come right out and say it.
Leading up to the Super Bowl, they didn't take the bait when given multiple chances to go after the commissoner over the Deflategate scandall. After the game, Tom Brady was once again respectful, though the airing of a Shields MRI commercial provided a reminder that he's not above getting in a little jab at the commissioner.
During Monday's press conference, Brady was once again well-behaved, but it would appear one of his teammates took the opportunity to have some fun at Goodell's expense.
The McCourty twins' Instagram account, which is shared by Devin and Jason McCourty, posted a picture of Goodell and Brady in Monday's press conference with Goodell's face replaced by a crying Jordan. The photo, which also had a winking football emoji and seven crying laughing emojis, was posted as part of an Instagram story that also featured footage from Sunday's postgame party.
