Former Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner, who was fired after Wells' report explored the bullying relationship between linemen Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin, is filing a defamation lawsuit against Wells, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Will Tom Brady follow in his footsteps?
If Brady does file a lawsuit, Kirk Minihane doesn't expect it to be aimed at Wells.
"I don't think this defamation case is against Wells. I think it's against the NFL for the brief Goodell just filed," said Minihane. "He went from generally aware to Brady orchestrating this, to violating this law. Out of nowhere. Made up out of thin air. There's no new proof, nothing going on and Goodell says Brady is the one doing this. That's where the lawsuit is."
