The Patriots suffered their first loss of the preseason with a 14-13 defeat to the Eagles on Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.   • Drake Maye completed 6-of-11 pass attempts for 47 yards, in addition to 15 rushing yards and one rushing TD. He played four drives, including the entirety of the second quarter.
  • Patriots kicker Joey Slye went 2-of-2 on field goal attempts. Chad Ryland still hasn't attempted a field goal in the preseason.
  • Linebacker Raekwon McMillan led the Pats with nine tackles (five solo).
  • New England's pass rush tallied five sacks and six QB hits.
  • Starting left tackle Vederian Lowe gave up a sack and was penalized for a false start in a lackluster performance.
