Patriots hit back at ESPN “First Take” criticism with Twitter video

Many football pundits didn't pick the New England Patriots to beat the Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday's AFC Divisional Round playoff game at Gillette Stadium, and the team clearly noticed.

Some of the most intense criticisms of the Patriots comes from ESPN's "First Take" with co-hosts Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman. Kellerman, of course, has been roasted by many people for his 2016 take that Brady was "going to fall off a cliff." Despite the fact Brady has won a Super Bowl, an NFL MVP and Sunday's game over the Chargers in dominant fashion since those comments were made, Kellerman refused to back down Monday.

Someone in the Patriots noticed what was said about them on "First Take" last week because the team's Twitter account posted this video highlighting some of the incorrect predictions/takes Kellerman and Smith made about Sunday's matchup.

The Patriots, perhaps more than any season in a long time, are not being shy about publicly saying how nobody believes in them. This is a team that normally gives the most cliché answers to these topics, but when Brady gives a pretty candid interview to CBS after a playoff game, you know the team is using this criticism as a huge source of extra motivation entering Sunday's AFC Championship Game matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
