The New England Patriots have traded Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2018 second-round pick, NBC Sports Boston Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran has confirmed.
The trade was first reported by Adam Schefter on Monday night.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting the Cleveland Browns offered the Patriots "a second and change" before the draft.
