Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will not have to attend the settlement conference over Brady's Deflategate suspension with Judge Richard Berman next Wednesday, according to an ESPN report.
That would free Brady up to remain in West Virginia, where the Patriots and Saints are conducting a joint practice ahead of their preseason game on Aug. 22.
