The Islanders enter Monday night with tons of confidence. They evened the series with a 4-1 victory in Game 4 that included their best player, first-line center Mathew Barzal, giving his best performance of the 2021 playoffs so far. New York also held Boston's top line in check most of the game, which is a pretty tough challenge.
The Bruins have been good all season at bouncing back when adversity hits them, and we've seen that in the playoffs, too. They are 2-0-0 after a loss this postseason. The B's never lost more than two consecutive games during the regular season. So, it's pretty clear the coaching staff is quick to make quality adjustments.
