Complete list of Bruins' 2021 draft picks

The 2021 NHL Draft begins Friday night with the first round, and it's an important event for the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins have arguably the worst prospect pool in the league. This has resulted in the Bruins not having enough depth at the NHL level in recent Stanley Cup Playoff runs.

2021 NHL Mock Draft roundup: Bruins' first-round pick predictions

One of the reasons for the Bruins not having a great prospect pool is they've made just one selection in the first round over the last three years. Boston parted with its 2018 and 2020 first-rounders in trade-deadline deals.

The Bruins held on to their 2021 first-round pick at this year's trade deadline. They own the No. 21 overall selection in the first round Friday night. However, it will actually be the 20th pick in the round because the Arizona Coyotes were forced to forfeit their first-rounder (No. 11 overall).

The Bruins don't have a pick in the second round. They traded this selection to the Buffalo Sabres as part of the Taylor Hall deal before the April 12 trade deadline. That turned out to be a fantastic move for Boston.
