Taylor Hall is feeling lighter in the wallet following a frustrating night for the Boston Bruins.
The winger was fined $5,000, the maximum allowed under the NHL's collective bargaining agreement, for an incident which resulted in a roughing call against Hall in the second period of a 6-4 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden on Tuesday.

Hall had retaliated against Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin for an aggressive check into the boards from behind, a play which didn't result in a penalty against Lyubushkin.
After getting up, Hall punched Lyubushkin from behind, which resulted in a two-minute roughing call against Hall.
Toronto scored on the ensuing power play, making it a 5-1 game on Auston Matthews' 49th goal of the season at 16:00 of the second.
