Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while truly sad to see the passing of everybody’s favorite TV dad, Alan Thicke.
*Down Goes Brown has the NHL’s top 10 own goals, a la Patrik Laine against the Edmonton Oilers last weekend.
*I am far from a Justin Bieber apologist, but what is up with this absolute hero of a beer league D-man that snapped Bieber’s stick with an overhand slash? I don’t blame the Biebs for getting a little worked up about it.
*Classic Florida Panthers poster for Star Wars night. You could always tell during his brief time with the Bruins that the Jagr was strong in the Force.
*FOH (Friend of Haggs) Elliotte Friedman has his 30 Thoughts for the week including the NHL getting involved in the booming “esports” market. Another great gift bestowed upon us by the millennial generate is “esports” whatever the hell that is.
*Andre Burakovsky was scratched against the Islanders, so here are some reasons why Barry Trotz went that route with the struggling Caps forward.
*Could Chicago Blackhawks backup goaltender Scott Darling be a No. 1 goaltender somewhere else? Does he even want to be?

For something completely different: As mentioned above, Alan Thicke was a friend to Wayne Gretzky and a friend to the game of hockey all the way until his final moments. My thoughts and condolences to his family, and the many, many hockey fans he entertained over the years as a good Son of Canada.
